iPhone 5 Camera And Battery Leaked Pictures Drop Subtle Hints

According to the rumours we have seen up till now, the iPhone 5 is coming out this September. However regarding its features not much has come forward from reputable sources. Now as the launch comes closer each day, it is normal for next generation iPhone parts and components to leak out on the internet prematurely, and that's exactly what has happened today.

Earlier this week, we posted some pictures that were leaked from the Wintek facility in China. Wintek is the company that makes and has made screens and other electronic parts for iPhone as well as other smartphones on the market. The pictures show a touchscreen with elongated Home button that can very well be of the iPhone 5. Today however two pictures of iPhone 5 parts have been leaked. One of the battery shown above, and other of the iPhone 5 camera component posted down below.

The supposed iPhone 5 battery image shows a slight difference when compared to the battery of its predecessor, the iPhone 4.  The labels on the iPhone 5 battery read 3.7V and 5.25Whr which is somewhat identical to the labels on the iPhone 4 battery which read 3.7V and 5.3Whr. This means that there is no significant change in the battery power. Images also show a plausible part number of 616-0580 as compared to 616-0513 and 616-0521 part numbers of the iPhone 4 battery. It is also evident that the new iPhone battery connector has been rotated when its compared to its predecessor.

As far as the camera is concerned, the back camera has been rumoured to be of 8 megapixels with a dual-LED flash that would be separated from the camera module itself. Based on the picture of iPhone 5 camera received, these rumours have been shattered as the flash is not separated from the camera module and also, there is no dual LED flash. However the 8 mega pixel possibility still stands.

Aesthetically speaking, the iPhone 5 is going to be tapered and thinner while being lighter than all previous iPhones. We've seen a couple of fake iPhone 5 in China which are already on sale. Take this replica iPhone 5 for example, its exquisitely thin profile makes us think how wonderful and sexy looking would the real iPhone 5 really be.
